Jared Munson is an award winning comedian based out of Boise, Idaho. During his 12 years in Spokane he was voted Favorite Comedian in the Inlander’s Best of the Inland Northwest Reader’s Poll in 2017, followed with 2nd Place finishes in 2018 and 2019. He has shared the stage with nationally recognized comedians like Melissa Villasenor (Saturday Night Live, America’s Got Talent), Dan Cummins (Comedy Central Presents, Live at Gotham, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno), Kristin Key (Last Comic Standing, NBC’s Bring the Funny), Buzz Sutherland (HBO’s Comic Relief), and Don Friesen (2-Time San Francisco International Comedy Competition Winner).
In late 2017, Jared started hosting Hey, What’s Up? With Jared Munson, a local talk show in Spokane that was created to showcase the talent that the Inland Northwest has. In 2021 amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, Jared converted his talk show to a podcast, entitled Hey, What’s Up? The Podcast in hopes to resume the talk show in the future. He has had numerous exciting guests including the late actor Bob Saget (Full House), actor Kirk Acevedo (Arrow, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, Oz), best selling authors Rob Hart (The Warehouse), Taylor Adams (No Exit), and numerous past Miss Idaho and Miss Washington winners.
Jared was featured in the DC Comedy Festival held in Washington, D.C. in April of 2018. Jared was featured at the Idaho Comedy Fest in May of 2021.
